Oh no, please don't hate them! I know Kris is reacting really negatively to them, but he's hardly an unbiased narrator. Try to imagine their side of each conversation--Kris is so devastated by Adam's disappearance that he's getting rude and unreasonable, lashing out at all the business professionals who are simply doing what they're paid to do--and in Vanessa's case, what Kris pays her to do.
